Man, it was like an episode of X-Files. Aliens or other beings seem to have abducted not Agent Mulder but rather the CD. You know the one, Taylor Hicks, "Early Works" due to release in August. Yeah, that one - seems now even though it had been available for purchase on amazon.com for weeks, now it is 'off the market'.
It has vanished. Well from amazon.com at least.

I'm so amused by the paranoia in Taylor's fanbase (not directed at you Sunny, cause I know you are one of sane ones). It's no longer listed in Amazon - "the sky is falling, mentality"! It didn't occur to anyone that Amazon sold out of their supply of pre orders?? It really makes you think these fans REALLY do not have any kind of life, do they?

ReplyDeleteI suppose you've called to check and verify this information? Seeing as how I'd think the distributor would want to sell as many CDs as possible I can't imagine them selling out.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I'm not an expert on how to sell records nor the advance purchase route but it's strange that amazon.com would reduce the price of the CD if they were low on stock. That doesn't fit the supply and demand economics theory.
The CD opened at $11.99 then dropped to $10.99 then next was announced to be 9.99. Read that on one of the blogs. After the announcement that you could buy it for 9.99 it went off of amazon.com.
