Ramble On
Leaves are falling all around,
Its time I was on my way...
Mine's a tale that cant be told,
My freedom I hold dear;
How years ago in days of old
When magic filled the air,
Twas in the darkest depths of mordor
I met a girl so fair,
But gollum, and the Evil One crept up
And slipped away with her.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked,
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed."

Very good post Sunny. But the problem is that many of us don't seem to recognize which wolf we're feeding.
ReplyDeleteThanks for appreciating the post.
