Jason Castro "Hallelujah"

What a great performance tonight by Jason Castro, he was brilliant! I absolutely love this guy.

  1. Have to agree, he did a great job. He's definitely one of those fun contestants that gets better and better each week.

I loved David C. tonight too. I really wasn't impressed with him before tonight, but thought he was great tonight.

  2. He and David Cook were my favorites. I haven't really been very keen on Cook, but he was very good tonight.

I think Archuletta sounded the worst since the competition began, and is showing a limited potential regarding what type of songs he can deliver.

  3. David A. just bugs me. I think he has a very nice voice, but I don't like watching him sing. The lip licking and gasping are hard to take. I think he'll probably win the whole thing though. *sigh*

I really am fished in this season. Actually have some ponies in the race, unlike last season. Had too strong of a Taylor hangover to care much about last season.

  4. I know he's heavily favorited - David A. that is, but it's early. You are right, he's distracting to watch sing, and he is raspy and gaspy the entire time. I mean, seriously could you imagine attending a concert by this kid? Not me. That's what I'm going to write about this week, how there is nothing about him that would compel me to pay to see him live nor to buy his Cds. He can sing, yes, but entertain? No.

I can not believe that Taylor's fans have negative things to say about David A. He is one of the few this season that has had a passion for music just about all his young life. His passion for making a career in music is evident. I know that Taylor would want us to cheer them all on regardless of their age.

I'm embarrassed to be part of the "Soul Patrol" when comments are made as you have in this blog. Have your favorites and talk positive about them, but if you have nothing to say nice about any of them...KEEP your mouth shut..Did your mother not teach you that.

  6. Look 'anonymous' this is my blog, and that is my 'article'. Those are my opinions. If you don't like what you read, leave. You need not comment, or did your mother never teach you that? You are an embarrassment - forget the whole Soul Patrol bag of rubbish, you are an embarrassment to the human race. You are an anonymous idiot.

Not sure how I ended up here but glad I did. Jason's Hallelujah was the only performance from the show I'd want to hear again. He's a goof, but he has music in his soul. I agree with the comment about David A- I enjoy his voice and he seems like a good kid but an entire concert would put me into diabetic coma. A Jason gig I might just be able to handle.

  8. Welcome cc. Jason's an adorable goof, that is until he gets in front of the microphone. I have loved all of his performances, but "Hallelujah" my favorite so far. He has such a sweet self-deprecating sense of humor.
