Snippet of one of Taylor Hicks' new songs? Perhaps.
Geez, Taylor you have me putting up vids like this to catch a glimmer of possible new material. Give a blogger a break, man.
...the night life and the sunshine got the best of me...
Idea for your New Year's resolution, cop Sunny a real deal and pass a tune to present to the fans. That said, I guess my New Year's resolution should be keep on keeping on that ledge of reality, 'cause that's not likely to happen.
This video showcases Taylor Hicks singing that snippet in this feature that ran on him a few weeks back.
Happy New Year IDOL BLUES readers.

Well, I've decided to go to Chicago to meet up with an old college buddy AND see Taylor do his new music at a club. Can't wait! (hope I like it!) I'll give y'all a recap.
ReplyDeleteCaryl, Can't wait to hear your recap, I'm sure one way or the other you will have a good time. Hope you get some pics also!!!

That CD can't come out soon enough...or at least a little sneak peek of it.
ReplyDeleteHow come this song is not on his myspace yet? Forgive me, for being skeptical, but where's the buzz, where's the promotion? I don't see anything. *sighs*
ReplyDeleteAnon, Was talking the same thing elsewhere, there has been nothing said to confirm that the single will be released on the 6th. As you have said there has been no promotion at all, I would think something would have been done before now if the 6th was a realistic date.

Without any word out on the single, it's not looking real positive. You'd think in some of these interviews he's giving he'd bring the guitar, insist on shining the spotlight on the tunes upcoming on the new record.
