In the nwi.com>, a Munster,IN on-line publication, Taylor Hicks said, "To each his own. Everybody has their own particular path they create for themselves. For me, I'm creating my own niche and my own career path." further indication he's not throwing the towel into the ring yet.

There's those acting comments again. Taylor knows it's a longshot for him to make any kind of success in music. Maybe he would make a better actor than musician. He convinced millions of people to vote for him. Maybe he should have stuck to AI Taylor if that's what people wanted. Or, maybe he just made a bad post-Idol cd and AI contentants only get one shot. The TV audience is fickle and it's easy to move on to new Idols.
ReplyDeleteSunny, Thought he did wonderful on the show. Mixed the lyrics a bit, but thats Taylor. With the line up they seem to have for him as far as apperances, he should get great promotion for the new CD. I like that he is taking this time before the release and promoting EW.

Anon, I'm hearing more like he's wanting to get into acting rather than it's because he's not making it in music. He's mentioned Beyonce several times, perhaps he's thinking he'd like to venture into what she's doing. Thing is, with his gray hair, vs his real age that could present a big obstacle.
ReplyDeleteJI, I think it's a very good idea to promote the Early Works material. Several obvious reasons for that.
